www.4-wheelclassics.com This 1979 Jeep CJ-7 Is a really cool, clean
CJ that was frame-off restored around 10 years ago. It was a summer
vehicle used at the last owner's cabin and driven sparingly only in
the summers. This was a factory 304 V8 Jeep which was changed to a
360 V8 when restored. It has a lot of nice upgrades and it is a
great running and driving CJ-7. The body is all fiberglass...the
doors and grille are steel. It is in really nice condition and
really straight (especially for fiberglass). It has original style
front and rear bumpers. The frame is was cleaned and painted when
restored and it is solid with no issues. It has a full fiberglass
hard top with a sunroof that pops out. The red paint looks great
(it was painted at time of restoration). The interior is also in
nice condition with Bestop Bucket Seats up front and a Bestop bench
seat in the rear. There is a large center console between the front
seats. The dash area was restored as well and looks really nice and
they also added carpet at the time of restoration which is still in
great condition. It does have a factory style rear roll bar. The
headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals are all
working. This Jeep has tilt wheel. The gauges all work. The horn,
heat, and windshield wipers work. Mechanically this CJ-7 is
excellent. It starts easy and it runs and drives great. The engine
is a 5.9L 360 V8 out of an early 70's Jeep. It was rebuilt when
restored and runs strong with no issues or red flags that we found
(No receipt). It has an Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock AVS2 4
Barrel Carb, headers with side exit exhaust, electric fuel pump,
and electronic ignition. It has a Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission
that shifts great. It is mated to the Borg Warner 1339 (Quadratrac)
transfer case that has been converted from AWD to a factory hi-lo
4WD system. The rear axle is an AMC 20 with 3.54 gears and a
limited slip. The front axle is a Dana 30 with 3.54 gears. It has a
4 Inch spring lift with newer shocks. This is all sitting on a nice
set of aftermarket aluminum wheels with 33 Inch Dick cepek Extreme
Country tires. We drive what we sell so that we can give you a
