Sold new by Stevens Creek Porche of Santa Clara, California on 19 November 2001, this Boxster S in optional Basalt Black Metallic was selected with a Graphite Grey partial leather interior. As an "S" model, the car was equipped with the more powerful 250 horsepower 3.2-liter flat six mated to a six-speed manual transmission, larger 17-inch alloy wheels, and cross drilled front brake rotors with four piston calipers. The car was additionally equipped with color crest center caps, heated front seats, sports package, and a Graphite Grey power folding convertible soft top.
