Completed in March 1994, this Porsche 968 was sold new on 16 August
1994 by Northland Porsche of Cincinnati, Ohio, finished in the
rarely seen and optional shade of Aventurine Green Metallic. The
car was optioned with a Classic Gray leather interior with the GT
package that included a limited-slip differential, 17-inch Cup
Design wheels, power adjustable driver's seat, painted rear
spoiler, and protective side moldings. The clean CARFAX Vehicle
History report records prior registrations in the US and Quebec,
Canada before being purchased by the current Georgia-based owner in
July 2024.
The car has benefited from thorough servicing in recent years,
including replacing the clutch master and release cylinders and the
front shock absorbers in December 2019. The cooling system was
overhauled in 2021 with a new water pump engine mounts, timing and
balance shaft belts, fuel tank sending unit, oil pan gasket, and
intake manifold seal. In 2023, new Continental ExtemeContact Sport
tires were installed, the thermostat and radiator were replaced,
and the brake fluid was flushed.
Today, it is offered with just under 86,000 miles at the time of
cataloging. Upgrades include a Billy Boat exhaust system, 17-inch
Mille Miglia Cup II-style wheels, a Porsche Classic, and a center
console that is said to have been replaced with one sourced from a
968 Clubsport. Should the next owner wish to return the car to a
more stock configuration, the original radio and center console
accompany the car, along with a copy of its window sticker, service
booklet, and owner's manual.
