The 993-generation Porsche 911 Turbo holds exalted status among Porsche enthusiasts and fans of 1990s sports cars in equal measure, representing the pinnacle of the air-cooled, flat-six 911 design. Offered for only 1996 and 1997 in the U.S., the 911 Turbo delivered 400 horsepower via sequential twin turbos and all-wheel drive, achieving the run to 60 miles per hour in 4.4 seconds and a quarter-mile dash in 12.7 seconds. Finished in January 1996 in Polar Silver Metallic over an optional Rubicon supple leather interior, a copy of the original window sticker shows it was sold through Southpointe Motorcars of Sarasota, Florida, now known as Suncoast Porsche. In 2024, the car was acquired by just its second owner with 31,154 miles and a fresh service was completed at Suncoast Porsche, of course.
