Among the most exclusive models in Ford's lineup, this 1955 Crown
Victoria made up just 5% of total Fairlane production. Coated in
factory-correct Mountain Green and Neptune Green two-tone paint,
this coupe features the distinctive curved glass and sloping
roofline that defined top-tier Fords of the era. Bold chrome
accents highlight the body contours while the signature stainless
steel band across the roof gives the Crown Victoria its name. The
15" wheels wear factory-style chrome hubcaps and white wall
215/75R15 radial tires, adding to the authentic mid-'50s
appearance.
Medium Turquoise vinyl coupled with Dark Turquoise cloth upholstery
creates an authentic cabin atmosphere. The split front bench looks
excellent and maintains its original appeal with minimal signs of
use. The dash houses factory-style gauges for monitoring vital
statistics while driving. An aftermarket tilt steering column with
Billet Specialties wheel adds modern control, and the
column-mounted shifter operates the transmission. Power steering
makes directional changes easy, and the color-matched dash panels
tie the interior together.
A 351 Windsor V8 sits at the center of this classic's performance
capabilities. The Brawler 4-barrel carburetor mounted on an
Edelbrock high-rise intake manifold improves airflow for better
throttle response. A March serpentine belt system runs the
accessories, and the C4 3-speed automatic transmission handles gear
selection. Power disc brakes allow for quick stops when needed. The
FlowMaster dual exhaust produces a rich tone during acceleration,
while the aluminum radiator and electric fan keep the V8 running
cool in all conditions.
