1967 MGB Roadster, Mark I
Fun 1967 MGB Roadster for sale. Finished in British racing green with a black vinyl interior and white piping, Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel, roll bar, upgraded stereo, and recently had $6,200 of mechanical work performed. This is a cool, driver-quality B.
The 1800cc inline 4-cylinder starts and runs well with excellent oil pressure. It has stock SU carburetors, and it shifts through the gears nicely. Recent repairs included a new fuel pump, brake cylinders, head gasket, oil temperature sender, new brake fluid, battery, spark plugs, thermostat, oil change, radiator hose, flasher unit, and more. The car starts easily and performs well.
The exterior presents well. It was repainted in BRG in 2016, including the boot and door jambs. It has an older, functioning soft top showing some wear, though there is good visibility through the rear window. The windscreen is in nice shape, and it includes a nice tonneau cover, though snaps were never installed when the dash was recovered. It has the original Rostyle steel wheels wearing an older set of P175/70R14 Continental tires that will need to be replaced due to age.
Inside is comfortable with factory style black vinyl interior and white piping, nice door panels, working original Smith gauges including the split gauge; Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel, roll bar, Alpine stereo with Blaupunkt speakers installed in a rear enclosure. The horn button was fitted where the original windscreen squirter was, and there is an overdrive switch located at the left side of the dash, though the car is not equipped with OD.
This solid, driver-quality MGB could use a few small items to bring it up to the next level if one desires, but it is driving great and ready to enjoy now.
