This real SS checks the boxes! It has a long list of desirable
features and it is restored beautifully.
EXTERIOR: This Super Sport has the look. The body was completely
restored and the end result was a laser straight panels with
excellent gaps. It's smooth from the rockers to the roof. Painted
Targa Red with Glamour clear coat that was polished to a glass
finish. The black stripes down the side and blacked out tail panel
are a nice touch. The chrome and trim was replaced at the time of
restoration. It has optional bumper guards and dual mirrors, a
power antenna was added. The glass is tinted. It rolls proudly on
15 inch Rally wheels wearing BFG radial redline tires.
INTERIOR: It has a great interior, very meticulously restored and
full of great features! The seats are reupholstered and the buckets
have extra bolsters that feel great. The door panels and armrests
are reproduction. The carpets were replaced and has reproduction
rubber mats. Up above the headliner was replaced and fits tight as
a drum. It has matching visors, working dome light, and a new
mirror. In front of you is a fully restored dash with factory
gauges and the cool blinker tachometer. The reproduction steering
wheel is on a tilt column. Down between the bucket seats is a
console with a working clock and a Hurst shifter sticking out of
it. Another great feature is factory power windows. The full set of
original seat belts are still included.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: That's actually a 454 disguised as 396. It was
rebuilt and balanced, bored 30 over, has 10.25:1 pistons, Comp
Extreme Energy cam, polished aluminum intake, Holley 800 carb, HEI
ignition and ceramic coated Hooker headers. Has some very desirable
features like power brakes, power steering and a modern air
conditioning system. It's dressed up with some beautiful chrome
valve covers, master cylinder and alternator. It has a working
under hood lamp, the squirters are hooked up, it even has the glass
bottle of windshield washer concentrate. Overall very clean motor
compartment. The finned valve covers look especially good under the
under hood light.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Clean and complete! Under the trunk lid and the
jamb are as slick as the car itself. It has reproduction stickers,
weatherstrip and trunk mat. It's complete with a black painted rim
on a matching red line tire and the jack assembly.
UNDERSIDE: This had the body taken off the frame and it was
completely restored underneath. The front suspension and steering
was completely rebuilt. The rear suspension was rebuilt and
upgraded with solid control arms and a swaybar. The brake system
was also completely redone and upgraded with disc at all four
wheels, the e-brake assembly was replaced. It has a custom dual
exhaust with an x-pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Looking up at the
motor it is clean Chevy orange with a high torque starter.
Reproduction Auto Gear M-22 Rock Crusher 4-Speed manual trans and a
12 bolt 3.55 posi in back. The floors are all clean metal painted
black, the chassis is also a smooth black finish.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
I'm confident the new owner will be very pleased with this one. It
impressed me and I look at thousands of cars. All the features will
really be appreciated once you're out using them.
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights.
Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are
interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment
with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an
admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a
car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year
museum membership.
