Ford Tudor Restomod. The exterior wears a vibrant two-tone
Turquoise and Black paint job with orange painted stripes adding a
bold visual element. Every inch of the all-steel body remains
intact, including the fenders and running boards, while custom
touches like a one-piece windshield, sport mirrors, flush gas cap,
and frenched license plate enhance its overall look. The chrome
grille, bezels, and trim shine brilliantly against the colorful
backdrop. American Racing Torq Thrust wheels - 14" up front with
185/70R14 tires and 15" in back with 215/70R15 rubber - sit at each
corner beneath the lowered body.
Gray tweed and vinyl cover the custom interior spaces with minimal
wear throughout. VDO gauges occupy the clean dash while a tilt
column offers easy access to controls. The 8-way power driver's
seat provides excellent support and positioning. A Kenwood flat
screen receiver and separate satellite radio feed audio through
dual 6x9 JBL deck lid speakers and 4" round kick panel units. Other
interior features include power windows, a removable center console
with storage and cup holders, air conditioning, power steering,
column shifter, and seatbelts for all passengers. The trunk area
appears clean and carpeted, housing the spare tire and battery.
Under the metal sits a fuel-injected 6.0L LS2 V8 engine from a 2008
Pontiac G8. The motor pairs with a 6L80E six-speed automatic
transmission, sending power through an aluminum driveshaft to a
Ford 9" rear end with 3.25:1 gearing. The suspension consists of
tubular A-arm front components with adjustable coilovers working
alongside a four-link rear setup. Long tube headers connect to a
dual Flowmax exhaust system with chrome tips. Four-wheel disc
brakes provide stopping power while a Spectre air intake allows for
better engine breathing. A 19-gallon fuel tank from a 2004 Blazer
offers extended cruising range.
