Built to dominate both the show field and the dragstrip, this 1941
Willys Coupe is a no-compromise Pro Street monster with
jaw-dropping power and top-shelf craftsmanship. Beneath the
fiberglass body beats a Smeding Performance 540ci big block V8 with
aluminum heads, a Weiand tunnel ram, and dual Holley 650
carbs-dynoed at a tire-melting 707 horsepower and 720 lb-ft of
torque. A built Turbo 400 automatic with a Coan 3800 stall
converter sends all that fury through a Fab 9-inch rear with 3.55
gears and posi, while full 3-inch exhaust lets this beast roar like
it means it.
This Willys isn't just fast-it's built right. The Mustang II front
suspension with tubular control arms and manual rack-and-pinion
steering keeps things planted up front, while coilovers and a
4-link rear setup make sure all that torque hits the pavement.
Power brakes and 4-wheel discs give it the stopping power it needs,
and it rolls on Rocket Racing wheels up front and Billet
Specialties in the rear to complete the classic Pro Street
look.
Open the remote-release doors and trunk, and you'll find a custom
gray leather interior stitched by Steve Holcomb, featuring bucket
seats, an overhead console, tilt column, Autometer gauges, and
power windows. It even includes a Vintage Air underdash A/C system
(currently not hooked up) for comfort to match the performance.
Every inch was built with intention, blending dragstrip heritage
with modern drivability.
Finished in a bold blue that screams attitude, this Willys Coupe is
more than just a tribute to the gassers of old-it's a fully modern,
big block-powered street machine that backs up its looks with
serious performance. Whether you're burning rubber or collecting
trophies, this is a statement car in every sense of the word.
If you're after a show-stopping icon with real bite, this 1941
Willys Coupe is the ultimate mix of outrageous styling, meticulous
build quality, and raw American horsepower.
