1968 PORSCHE 911SR
Complete R specification twin-plug motor and five-speed transmission with removable second gear cluster as new from extensive restoration by the well respected Callas Rennsport of Torrance, Ca. All work confirmed by receipts provided by owner, who has had ownership since 2007. Optioned with a single racing seat and other sports equipment.
The car has extensive racing history in Canada. The car has been restored to the same livery which was present when Jacques Bienvenue in 1977 was D Production champion of Quebec and CASC National Champion of Canada. All pictures and historical provenance will be included in the sale. A 1968 Porsche 911S is also rare because that year none were allowed to be imported into the US because of Federal smog regulations. An ideal Porsche for show or continued vintage racing!
