Finished in a Cranberry Red that makes every angle of this 1971
Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Tribute look sharp, the muscular body
lines have been elevated by aggressive painted black stripes. The
color combination works perfectly against the bright chrome trim
and grille. A lowered stance gives this Chevelle serious muscle car
credibility, sitting on a mix of 17" front and 15" rear Summit
Racing wheels wrapped in 225/60R17 Roadone tires up front and
275/60R15 Nitto drag radials in the back. Tinted windows add a dark
contrast against the vibrant red exterior, while hood pins complete
the track-ready look.
Black vinyl interior gives this Chevelle a factory-correct
appearance while offering modern upgrades. The restuffed bucket
seats with console maintain the period-correct muscle car feel. An
upgraded JVC AM/FM/AUX/CD/MP3 unit handles the audio duties while
custom Omega Kustom Instruments gauges provide clear readouts of
vital engine data. The Holley Sniper EFI monitor gives the driver
full control over fuel mapping. Vintage Air conditioning and heat
keep the cabin comfortable, while the black carpet and headliner
complete the factory appearance.
The big-block 454 cubic inch V8 provides tremendous power through
electronic fuel injection via a Holley Sniper system mounted on an
Edelbrock aluminum intake. Aluminum Edelbrock heads with a
performance camshaft maximize performance, while the engine
breathes through long-tube headers connected to a dual exhaust
system with an X-pipe and FlowFX mufflers for that perfect muscle
car sound. A TH350 3-speed automatic transmission handles the power
delivery to the 12-bolt rear end. The handling is dramatically
improved with QA1 tubular A-arms, adjustable coil-overs, and sway
bars front and rear. Stopping power comes from Wilwood 4-wheel disc
brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.
