Vehicle Description
This show-quality square-body 1979 Chevrolet C10 custom pickup
defines a Resto-Mod with its modern upgrades from top to bottom. It
had a comprehensive restoration that was completed in 2024. The
body was taken to down to bare metal and the fuel door was shaved
for a smooth appearance. It was refinished in the beautiful color
of Nautical Blue, which was taken from a 2018 Toyota 4Runner. The
high-quality paintwork was recently detailed to a brilliant shine.
The front laminated windshield was replaced new. One Piece Products
supplied new one-piece door glass and flush-mounted rear window.
LMC supplied a new 1991 front end, chrome mirrors, door handles and
bumpers. The new bed floors were raised 8 inches and coated with
color-matched Line-X for durability. The new wheel tubs were
decorated with bead rolls. The bed was fabricated to accommodate a
locking black aluminum fuel filler that connects to a stainless
fuel tank. A set of custom 6.0 Sqrbdy LSX emblems were added to the
front fenders. It was outfitted with new 22-inch Intro Twist Vista
billet wheels with a satin center and polished lip. The interior
was taken down to a bare shell before refinishing. The roof was
painted to contrast with the rich tan leather upholstery. It was
set up with a new American Wire 21 circuit kit. The new tan dash
pad and black dash fascia frames the new Holley EFI 12.3 Pro Dash.
It features a 12.3-inch screen with 1280x480 resolution low glare,
high brightness, high contrast, full-color capacitive touchscreen
for easy viewing and real-time ECU tuning allows you to make quick
tune changes without hooking up a laptop. It was outfitted with a
custom bench seat with built-in cup holders. The sun visors, door
panels and bench seat were covered in tan leather. Some of the
interior features include a tilt steering column with billet lever
and shifter, Billet Specialties Victory 14-inch steering wheel,
Vintage Air system, power windows, custom pedals, Bluetooth Audio
with Kicker amplifier, 6.5-inch speakers in kicker panels and
subwoofer behind the seat. The floors were covered with plush tan
carpeting and molded floor mats. The painted engine compartment is
highly detailed throughout with all new parts. The firewall was
shaved and for a smooth appearance and the inner fenders were
decorated with bead rolls. It's powered by a supercharged LS2 V8
engine with a Holley Dominator engine management system. Some
engine parts include an ISKY camshaft, Frankenstein heads, polished
intake, CTS-V supercharge with a ZL1 lid and Lingenfelter pulley,
Siemen Deka injectors, MSD coils, AT1 balancer and Holly oil pan.
It's equipped with an Aeromotive fuel pump, II Much fuel vent and
Motion Race Works remote breather. The engine is cooled by an
aluminum radiator with dual Derale electric fans and billet
overfill container. The engine breathes through ceramic headers,
3-inch stainless dual exhaust system, MagnaFlow mufflers and
catalytic converters. The engine is coupled to a 4L80 Stage 3
automatic transmission. It's equipped with a Phoenix rack & axle
2-piece driveshaft. The power is transferred to a stock 12-bolt
housing that was shortened 1 inch. It has a Truetrac differential
with 32-spline axles, Moser cover and was powder-coated Dark Gray
Metallic. The undercarriage is highly detailed throughout. The
floors were treated to black Line-X for durability. The boxed inner
frame was outfitted with a Porterbuilt Fabrication Level 3 front
and rear drop member. These components were also powder-coated Dark
Gray Metallic. The AccuAir suspension system consists of dual
tanks, dual Viair compressors and RideTech Fox adjustable shocks.
The Wilwood power 4-wheel disc braking system consists of the
master cylinder, 6-piston front calipers, 4-piston rear calipers
and slotted rotors. An Odyssey Extreme Red battery was mounted to
the chassis. This vehicle has been completely serviced and
