This custom 1962 Chevrolet Bel Air 2-Door Post underwent a
frame-off restoration approximately 2,000 miles ago and was built
in the style of a 1960s street machine. It is powered by a 1962
409ci V8 engine, casting No. 3788068, with correct 690 heads
featuring date codes, factory GM dual-quad carburetors and correct
air cleaner. It has a BorgWarner T10 4-speed manual transmission
with a Hurst shifter, backed by a correct 1962 posi-traction rear
end with 4.10 ratio gears. Finished in Adobe Beige, this
California-bodied car retains its original sheet metal, including
the floor and trunk pans, with no patch panels. It is a radio- and
