Vehicle Description
This 1973 Volkswagen 23-Window Microbus re-creation is powered by a
Type 1 1500cc single-port 4-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed
gearbox featuring a 4.37 reduction, which reduces engine rpm while
simultaneously increasing torque. The electrical system is upgraded
with a 45-amp 12-volt alternator. This bus has undergone a
comprehensive restoration and features front drop spindles with an
adjustable beam. Braking is managed by a dual-reservoir master
cylinder with drum brakes at all four corners. The exterior
features include split pop-out front windows, a retractable ragtop
sunroof, skylight windows, jail-bar rear quarter windows, and both
front and rear roof-mounted luggage racks. It rides on 14-inch
smoothie wheels wrapped in whitewall tires. The custom interior is
finished in turquoise (code 215) and features two rear bench seats.
