For Sale at Auction: 1970 Custom Dune Buggy in Palm Beach, Florida
This 1970 Meyers Manx dune buggy with registration No. 2334 is
powered by a 2275cc flat-4 engine featuring ported and polished
heads, dual Weber 48 IDA carburetors, EMPI intake manifolds, an MSD
distributor, a Holley fuel pump, ceramic-coated headers and an A1
stainless-steel exhaust. The engine is paired with a 4-speed
transmission. Additional performance enhancements include NOS
nitrous oxide injection and performance drop spindles. The car
rides on a custom tube frame chassis with air-ride suspension at
the front and rear, and stopping power is provided by Porsche
944-sourced 4-wheel disc brakes. The exterior features a BASF
Diamond Blue Pearl fiberglass body finished to a high standard.
Interior highlights include leather Cerollo XR sport bucket seats,
a Budnik steering wheel, a Flaming River stainless-steel steering
column, a custom-built instrument panel with AutoMeter C2 gauges,
LED interior lighting and a custom aluminum fuel tank. The vehicle
also features Budnik Gasser wheels and a signature from Bruce
Meyers. Every detail was meticulously attended to during the build,
