Vehicle Description
This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by its original
GM-installed 427/390hp big-block V8 engine paired with the factory
4-speed manual transmission and rear end. This example retains its
original drivetrain components and is finished in its original
color combination of Nassau Blue with a white interior and white
soft-top. It underwent a body-off restoration between 1981 and 1983
and was then stored for over 24 years, remaining untouched until
2007. In June 2008, the car earned the NCRS Top Flight Award.
Notable features include side-exit exhaust, knock-off wheels with
gold line tires and a teakwood steering wheel. Documentation
includes the original Protect-O-Plate, owner's manual, service
records, a trade-in document dating back to 1968 and correspondence
and photos from a previous owner in the 1960s. ** PREVIEW
