Vehicle Description
This 1961 Lincoln Continental custom convertible is powered by a
Ford Gen II 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine producing 435hp and 400
ft/lbs of torque, paired with a 6R80 6-speed automatic
transmission. The engine has minimal miles since installation and
is backed by modern supporting components, including a custom
radiator with dual fans, a new MagnaFlow stainless-steel exhaust
system and an upgraded CPP disc brake system. The suspension
features a full air-ride setup with dual compressors, a four-link
rear configuration and tubular front control arms for a smooth,
adjustable ride. Finished in a freshly applied black exterior with
fully polished and replaced brightwork, this example showcases the
signature rear suicide doors and a newly installed and serviced
power-operated convertible top. It rides on one-off 21-inch Selluxe
chrome wheels by Prestige Forged Wheels, wrapped in .75-inch
whitewall tires. The custom white leather interior includes
automatic power bucket seats, a custom center console with
illuminated cup holders, a Prestige Wrap steering wheel and an
aftermarket Ididit steering column with a new steering gearbox.
Modern amenities include aftermarket air conditioning, HID
headlights, Dakota Digital gauges and a JL Audio Bluetooth sound
system controlled through a factory replica head unit. All power
windows and switches have been serviced and are fully operational.
This first-year, fourth-generation Continental combines iconic
styling with modern drivability and craftsmanship throughout,
including a detailed undercarriage and extensive custom touches. **
