Vehicle Description
This matching-numbers 1968 Pontiac GTO convertible underwent a
frame-off restoration and modification in 2008-09 at various
Atlanta speed shops. It was originally built and owned in Michigan
before moving to Florida in the 1990s and later to Atlanta, GA. The
engine has been bored and enlarged to 400ci, rated at 500hp and
converted to Fast fuel injection with a dash monitor. The engine is
paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission for high-speed
cruising. It is equipped with four-wheel Baer disc brakes, new
wheels and power steering, as well as an electronic parking brake,
a black leather interior and a black convertible top. The dash
includes a clock, tachometer and gauges for water pressure, engine
temperature, fuel level and oil pressure. The speedometer is
non-functional due to the transmission change. This GTO is finished
in high-gloss black paint, with minor bodywork and paint touch-ups
