Vehicle Description
This custom 1939 Ford 3-window pickup truck was extended 2 inches
and is powered by a 1965 Buick 401 Nailhead V8 engine bored 30 over
with two Edelbrock 600-cfm 4-barrel carburetors, mated to a 700R4
overdrive automatic transmission. It features an electric cowl
vent, custom-built frame, and hand-built air breather, radiator
shell and grille. This truck also has handmade and chromed lake
pipe headers with cutouts, and a chrome firewall and underbed
cover. It features rear quarters from a 1959 Chrysler Windsor mated
to the cab, all steel and no fiberglass. The roll and pleat
interior features bucket seats from a 1956 Crown Victoria. This
pickup has a solid hickory wood bed, disc brakes all around and
finned drums on the front disguising the disc brakes. It is
equipped with a chrome straight axle front suspension, four-link
rear suspension and 3.73 gears. This truck rides on chrome wheels
with Firestone Radials Deluxe Champion tires, 6.40.15 front and
8.20.15 dragster slicks in the rear. This one-owner pickup is a
