Engine & Transmission: The gas 2.6 V6 (3.2 Liter) engine runs very strong. Automatic transmission shifts very smoothly. The owners attention to maintenance over the years is evident by the records. It’s not every day you see this level of commitment from new on a classic. Very solid car.
Body: Body panels are all straight, good gaps. All glass is in great shape. Paint is very nice. The lenses have some crazing (see photos). 2020 tires date code. The car is kept with collectors other cars in a carpeted/heated garage.
Interior: The interior is in very clean condition. All doors are excellent. The dash and instruments as new. No color fading of the orange dials in the cluster. Wood is shiny and nice. Comes with Updated CD player in dash. Tilt & Slide sunroof works as new. Carpet is clean. Steering wheel is amazing. Trunk is very clean. Very nice interior.
Summary: The journey of this Mercedes Benz has been well document and is refreshing to see the owners dedication. This is a true time capsule and the second to the last year of manufacture (1982-1993) so it benefits from all the engineering and refining over the years. Nice car, a joy to own and drive.
