Final year of the first-generation Mustang, this 1973 Ford Mustang
Convertible wears Pearl White paint that shines across every inch
of its classic body. The black cloth convertible top folds down to
let the sunshine in while adding perfect contrast to the bright
exterior. Chrome accents highlight the clean lines from bumper to
bumper, while those 14" wheels fill the wheel wells with just the
right amount of muscle car attitude. Glass and lights remain clear
and bright, letting you see every angle of this American icon. The
215/70R14 tires put down the power and complete the look of this
final-year first-gen drop-top.
The Saddle vinyl interior offers both comfort and style with a
no-nonsense approach to driving. Bucket seats hold you in place
without showing any tears or excessive wear. The floor shifter puts
the C4 transmission right where you need it, with clear gauges that
display all the important info. The dash maintains its factory look
without any flaws or modifications. Air conditioning keeps things
cool on hot summer drives though we believe it to need a re-charge,
and the AM/FM radio plays your favorite tunes while cruising with
the top down.
The 302 V8 engine sits ready with a single 4-barrel carburetor on a
Wieand Street Warrior intake manifold. Long tube headers connect to
a dual exhaust system with Xlerator mufflers for a great sound when
you step on the gas. A Flamethrower ignition system lights the
fire, and the C4 3-speed automatic transmission handles the gear
changes. Power disc brakes up front stop you quickly, while power
steering makes driving easy. New lifters, valve springs, retainers,
and keepers from February 2024 keep things running smoothly on the
road.
