This beautiful patina car has spent its entire life in Georgia. Originally owned by a woman and given to her church, it has had an easy life. It was stored for a while before being picked up by the prior owner. It still has the original 330 engine with the Jetaway trans. The engine starts up easily (unless sitting for a month) and doesn't burn oil at all. The distributor, wires, and plugs have all been replaced along with a new Accel Hi-voltage coil. The valve cover gaskets were also replaced so no leaks there. The tranny shifts strongly and has no hesitation but does have a small pan gasket leak. I hope to get to that. The differential fluid and gasket have been replaced. The steering linkage has been replaced with ProForged parts, nice and tight. Power steering works well. All drum brakes have been rebuilt with the drums being replaced. Brake fluid flush was also performed. replaced engine oil/filter. I replaced the front shocks and have supplied rear shocks- KYB shocks. The interior is in great shape! One small tear on the bench seat on the driver side and one small tear on the front left dash corner. No tears in the headliner. Very clean! The rear package tray needs to be replaced as it was burnt from the sun. All gauges work. The Cutlass drives well; however, you can feel the old front a-arm bushings and ball joints. I have sourced a pair of CPP upper tubular a-arms from a '67 Olds 442. That '67 Olds 442 has also supplied a front sway bar (new bushing and links), newer front and rear springs, as well as a set of rear lower boxed control arms with the rear sway bar. These have been blasted and painted. These a-body cars are prone to rust at the bottom of the rear windows. There is evidence of this beginning in the lower corners of the window. I can provide photos of the trunk to show that the outside rust has not penetrated to the inside of the trunk. However, I am supplying a complete set of lower window channel replacement metal from Belden Speed, along with all the window replacement parts needed except for the adhesives. I have replaced some rusted panels that were behind the front wheels. Pictures are available. The floor panels are exceptional. Rockers and door bottoms are also clean. This car is a chance to get involved with a great running, fun car and drive it as you fix it up or leave that great patina so you can park it anywhere! Any serious offers will be considered.
