1964 Chevrolet Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup - 4-Speed Manual - Solid
Driver, Largely Original
This is a fantastic example of Chevrolet's forward-control
innovation: the 1964 Corvair 95 Rampside Pickup. With its
rear-mounted air-cooled flat-six, side ramp access, and clean,
honest presentation, this truck is a total standout. It's a rare
and cool survivor that runs great, drives even better, and shows
just the right amount of patina. If you're looking for a solid
driver or a unique piece to restore further, this is it.

Exterior:
The truck presents well with good lines and tight panel fitment
throughout. It appears to have had a repaint a couple of decades
back and still holds a nice shine. There are some normal blemishes
here and there, including some rust in spots (see detailed photos
and video). The bed and underside are solid, and both the side ramp
and tailgate open and close smoothly with no binding. All trim and
hardware are in place and in nice, clean condition. The glass is
clear and presentable, and all lights and wipers function
properly.
Interior:
The interior is largely original and shows very well. The dash,
gauges, and lenses all present nicely. The odometer is functioning,
and the mileage is believed to be accurate. The original steering
wheel is in great shape, and overall, the cab feels very complete
and well cared for. It's a comfortable space with a great classic
vibe.
Mechanical:
This Corvair starts right up, idles quietly, and revs cleanly. It's
powered by the original 2.7L flat-six engine, paired with a
smooth-shifting 4-speed manual transmission. The clutch feels
great, and it shifts through all gears with ease.
No smoke
No odd noises
Pulls strong and tracks straight under acceleration
Brakes are confidence-inspiring and stop straight
No suspension clunks or looseness - it feels tight in the hand
Tires are in nice condition with plenty of tread left
Undercarriage:
The underside shows nicely and solid overall. Rockers, frame rails,
and floors all look honest and presentable with the expected signs
of age. It's a solid base for driving as-is or bringing to the next
level if desired.
This Rampside is a total blast behind the wheel and always draws
attention at stoplights and gas stations. It's one of those rare
classics that's both unique and usable. Whether you're looking for
a weekend cruiser, a cool shop truck, or an addition to your
vintage collection, this one checks a lot of boxes.
