This 1985 Chevrolet K10 is the kind of square-body that turns heads
at the gas station and earns nods at the trailhead. Built during
the peak of Chevy's 4x4 dominance, this short-bed bruiser brings
back everything we loved about the era-rugged styling, bulletproof
hardware, and just enough flash to remind you this ain't your
average farm truck. With its two-tone paint, cowl induction hood,
and billet grille, this K10 rolls tough and clean.
Under the hood sits a trusty 350ci V8 with Edelbrock finned
aluminum valve covers and a matching air cleaner, breathing through
dual exhaust and backed by a Turbo 350 automatic. A suspension lift
with Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer gives it the stance and
control to handle real terrain-not just the grocery store parking
lot. Front locking hubs and power front disc brakes give you the
confidence to dig in and climb when things get hairy.
This beast rides on classic 16-inch Eagle Alloy wheels wrapped in
serious rubber, with Carr side steps and a toolbox out back adding
function to the form. Dual fuel tanks let you cover ground without
babysitting the fuel gauge, and a bedliner keeps the cargo area
clean no matter what you toss in. There's even an aluminum finned
differential cover to keep temps down when the trail gets
rough.
Inside, it's pure '80s cool with a two-tone interior, billet and
alligator inserts, a billet steering wheel, and all the right
creature comforts-tilt column, power windows, aftermarket radio,
and a full set of SunPro gauges including a dash-mounted tach. It's
a cockpit built for the long haul or the long weekend.
With square-body prices climbing and clean K10s getting tougher to
find, this lifted '85 is a killer mix of vintage Chevy attitude and
trail-ready performance. At $26,999, it's a whole lot of truck
without having to take out a second mortgage.
