The C/K series of pickups replaced the "Task Force" generation of
trucks for Chevrolet and as any classic car enthusiast would tell
you went on to become highly collectable. In the recent couple of
decades the classic truck world exploded and the C10's were an
immediate go-to. There are events and clubs are dedicated to this
line of truck so they are always a hit at shows. This 1963 was
professionally built and has a lot of neat features going for it.
You might be scratching your head as to why we are referring to it
as a '63. Well the truck is a 1963 but has very tastefully been
modified to resemble a 1961 with the custom grill and bumper. The
truck is painted in a nice Burgundy paint with the front
bumper/grill painted to match. The body has been shaved of all
handles but it does wear nice stainless trim down the lengths of
both sides. In back it has blue dot tail lights and a custom roll
pan with frenched license plate. The truck rides on Weld Racing
wheels with wide Mickey Thompson tires in the back that measure
29x15.5x15. With the tubs it could accommodate a larger wheel if
you would like.
The truck is currently set up without a hood to show off the built
up 357 ci motor that gets those tires turning. The engine runs very
strong and was professionally built for a blower. It is fitted with
a Howards Roller cam, Eagle forged rotating assembly, Edelbrock
6089 heads, Holley carbs, a polished Blower Shop 671 blower and of
course lots of chrome. If blower motors aren't your thing then
there is an option to purchase the truck with an approximately
500hp 383ci motor that has all Eagle forged internals, a roller
cam, Edelbrock heads, a polished intake, polished pan, and polished
valve covers. For the same price you could purchase the truck with
that motor installed and get a painted to match 1961 hood. Paired
with the motor is a Phoenix TH700R4 transmission that was built
with specs to handle the current horsepower. Behind that is a 3.73
rear end with spool and alloy axles. The bed has a carpeted mat and
is where you will find the polished fuel cell and the tank for the
4 wheel airbag suspension system. The truck sounds great and always
turns heads.
Inside the truck is Red carpeting and a Red upholstered bench seat.
On the floor is a Lokar shifter in a matching Red boot. The doors
and dash are painted in a nice gloss Black that looks good. It
features the stock style gauges, power window controls and an added
Autometer tachometer. There is also an underdash AC unit that works
well and blows cold. In front of the driver sits a Deluxe steering
wheel with chrome horn ring.
This is a nice solid truck that was very well built. If you are
ready to draw a crowd at shows, this is the truck to show up
in.
It's all yours for $49,500.00!
