The 1956 Ford Victoria was part of Ford's full-size line and stood
out as a stylish two-door hardtop, offering a blend of luxury and
performance. It was one of the most popular models in Ford's
"Fairlane" series, which positioned it as a high-end vehicle for
its time. This handsome '56 Victoria exemplifies the mid-'50s era
to perfection. The hardtop has been fully restored (2014) to
virtually original condition. The exterior received a professional
2-stage respray of Mandarin Orange/Colonial White that is a
masterpiece. Accents include excellent chrome/stainless, front/rear
bumper guards, rear fender skirts and 15" Kontio White Paw Classic
wide-white radial tires mounted on steel wheels w/full wheel
covers. The interior has been fully restored. Stunning Orange/White
vinyl upholstery, door cards, headliner and a classic dash - all
top shelf. An aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette sound system has also been
installed (original radio included).
Under the hood is an M-Code Thunderbird 292ci V8 that was factory
rated at 202hp-238 lb/ft of torque. This motor is said to have been
completely rebuilt and is equipped with an Autolite 2-barrel
carburetor w/adapter in place of the original Holley 'teapot' 4V
carb, known to be a little finicky at times (multiple teapot 4V
carbs included). The Y-block runs like a timepiece and is backed by
a 3-speed Ford-O-Matic automatic transmission. Electrics are
12-volt and the chassis is fitted with manual steering and power
drum brakes w/dual master cylinder. Look at the photos again - the
attention to detail applied to the restoration of this Ford
Victoria hardtop is outstanding. With its combination of looks,
performance, and luxury, the 1956 Ford Victoria remains a classic
example of mid-20th-century American motoring. ALL VEHICLES SOLD
"AS IS".
