Documented real 427, 4-speed with factory air conditioning and born
in the amazing colors of Rally Red with white upholstery! Same
owner from 1969 to 2025 with only 60,310 actual miles. It comes
with its original tank sticker, a protect-o-plate, owner's manual,
a folder of service records, photos and title copies. The motor,
trans and rear were rebuilt. This is a very desirable Corvette for
several reasons!
EXTERIOR: One of the all time best looking body styles kicked it up
a notch with its factory Rally Red color and white stripe on the
stinger hood! This car shows really, really well and believe it was
restored in 1990. Not many miles have been put on it since and it
has been properly cared for. The body looks to be in great shape, I
don't see any damage or repairs showing. Everything fits really
nice, the doors shut effortlessly, and the headlights open and
close properly. Professionally repainted with 3 coats of Glazer
epoxy paint and it's polished smooth and glossy. All the chrome and
trim is straight and sparkly. The glass is exceptionally clear and
weatherstrips are in great shape. It has a set of good looking
reproduction aluminum bolt on wheels with Goodyear Eagle GT
tires.
INTERIOR: The factory born white interior is stunning against the
red. The seats and armrest cushion have been upgraded to genuine
soft leather. The carpet was replaced front to back and includes
floor mats. The door panels have been replaced. The dash area looks
to be very good, unabused original and all the gauges working
except for the clock. The dash pads are excellent, glove box door
looks new, it has its original AM/FM radio, the center console is
very nice and has the correct reverse lockout shifter sticking out
of it. The steering wheel is in excellent shape with no cracks. The
headliner, visors and the mirror look great. The jack is stored in
the compartment behind the seat.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Its motor compartment is detailed to factory
specs. It has a factory warranty replacement 427 dated 1967 stamped
CE for counter exchange. Correct manifolds, air cleaner, the
original valve covers with the dimples, and it has ignition
shielding. The motor was professionally rebuilt and balanced at a
Corvette shop. And the other big feature is the factory air
conditioning system that has been serviced and is currently
working. All the components look proper: the master cylinder,
steering box and coupler, wiring, alternator, pulleys etc. The
radiator looks like new with proper fan and shroud.
UNDERSIDE: It looks very clean and proper underneath too! It has
independent front and rear suspension that looks restored. There
are disc brakes at all four wheels, we just rebuilt the e-brake
assembly. The exhaust looks stock and clean with polished tips
exiting the valance. Looking up at the motor it still has fresh
Chevy Orange, correct starter and canister type oil filter. The
original Muncie 4-speed is VIN # matching to this car. The 3.36
posi rear end is also original to this car with proper dates and
codes. Both the trans and rear were rebuilt professionally at a
Corvette shop. The floors are clean fiberglass and the tire carrier
is in excellent shape. The frame is solid, painted black.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
This Corvette is actually much nicer than I expected it to be. I'm
very happy with its condition and of course I can't stress enough
that the colors, and a 427 with factory air is a big deal! This is
a real special car, here for the taking!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights. **Our cars are displayed
within a museum setting. If you are interested in a specific
vehicle, please schedule an appointment with a salesperson to view
it. Without an appointment, there is an admission fee to enter the
showroom. If you decide to purchase a car, your admission will be
refunded, and you'll receive a one-year museum membership.
