This is a stunning custom with a no expense spared restoration! I'd
say that speaks for it self! It's loaded up with great features too
from a/c and tri-power carbs to leather interior and a cloth top!
It was actually born a maroon 427 with side exhaust, documented
with the tank sticker. A 10 inch pile of restoration docs are also
included. Opening up all three carbs, shifting those gears and
hearing those pipes is going to be exhilarating!
EXTERIOR: It looks like a piece of wet candy! The body is pristine:
straight with precise gaps. The doors shut like new, it was
upgraded with Detroit Speed electric headlight motors. Painted a
gorgeous metallic Brandywine color that is polished like wet glass.
The black stripe on the stinger really looks tough! Even the jambs
are super slick, the door latches are chrome. The chrome on the car
was either replaced or rechromed. The stainless was professionally
restored. The windshield and all the weatherstrips were replaced.
The convertible top was upgraded to a rich black cloth and the
frame work was restored. A front spoiler, power antenna and LeMans
gas cap were added. It is rolling on a set of 17 inch Boyd
wheels.
INTERIOR: I just sat in the car, wow it's spotless! It was lined
with sound deadener and covered in a plush carpet. It has a
complete genuine leather Al Knock interior with red stitching. I'm
talking the seats, door panels, dash pads and visors. All the
gauges look new and work including the clock. Everything looks new:
mirror, seatbelts, console, knobs etc. The side exhaust makes some
great music but there's also a great sound system inside! A retro
digital stereo fits in the factory hole and has satellite
capability. An Alpine amp powers a subwoofer, 2 6x9s and dash
speakers. The Flaming River tilt column has a Boyd steering wheel
that matches the wheels!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Wow, I would say that's show quality! It's not
only show, it has some great features and some muscle tyo. At the
heart of it is a 1969 427 block with desirable 512 casting. It was
hot tanked, rebuilt, bored 30 over, and new bearings were
installed. The crank was polished, resized rods, new 9.5:1 pistons,
Lunati cam, roller rockers, new timing chain and oil pump. The
heads were planed, rebuilt and stainless seats added. On top is a
new complete correct tri-power carb set up. The air cleaner, valve
covers and ignition shielding are correct. An electronic ignition
and coated headers add to it's incredible power. The optional power
steering and brakes are chromed. The added air conditioning is also
polished and uses braided stainless hoses. The cooling system all
looks new. Actually every last little part looks new under this
hood!
UNDERSIDE: It is a complete restoration underneath. The suspension
is independent front and back which has all been completely rebuilt
or replaced. Upgraded with a composite rear leaf spring. The
steering has been completely rebuilt including the power steering
control valve. The dual side exhaust is stainless. Looking up at
the motor it is fresh Chevy orange with a high torque starter. The
Muncie 4 speed trans and related parts look fresh. In back is a
3.70 posi rear.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to work it. This is so we can sell you
the best cars within reason.
Someone is going to get a gorgeous powerhouse with luxury and class
all in one. That someone should be you!
For nearly 30 years, I, Jay Grams, have personally written the
highlights for almost every car in our collection. What I provide
is my professional opinion based on my experience with these
vehicles. However, opinions can vary, and I strongly recommend a
personal inspection to form your own view. Our sales team is always
available to answer any questions you may have. One great option is
to request a personalized walk-around video, where we can showcase
the car and share our team's insights.
Our cars are displayed within a museum setting. If you are
interested in a specific vehicle, please schedule an appointment
with a salesperson to view it. Without an appointment, there is an
admission fee to enter the showroom. If you decide to purchase a
car, your admission will be refunded, and you'll receive a one-year
museum membership.
