Vehicle Description
1959 Plymouth Fury Great restored example of the auto tailfins era,
a good runner and ready to enjoy. A western car with 318 c.i. V8
motor, auto transmission, power steering and swivel seats.
Everything works except the clock, even the AM radio plays - a very
unmodified car. The interior upholstery and door panels of the car
were redone in black and white with red accents that is good
quality and condition and looks great; foam padding on front seats
may need replacing at some point. The car has the torqueflite push
button transmission. The front seats are independent, not bench,
with the swivel feature to allow the ladies easy access with those
1950s dresses. The steering wheel has the original clear resin
ring. The previous owner reported that the car had a 5-year
restoration in its past. It received dual exhaust and new
suspension [leaf springs] in the back, with new brakes and
refurbished steering. It had a complete fuel system overhaul with
new gas tank, new fuel pump and fuel lines. The chrome is correct,
and the mirrors on the fenders are original type; the driver's side
can be adjusted from inside the car. The wheels carry the original
hubcaps. Tires are old school bias type White Walls. The car is
solid and appears to be rust free; it originally sold in Denver,
and won best of show in its category in the only competition it was
entered in. The car has current license and registration. Please
