Just out of many years of storage and the Nailhead engine is in great running condition.
Only rust is at the very bottom of the quarter panels, behind the rear wheels. Beautiful floors.
The interior is typical Arizona interior, dry and the paint is sun baked but the sheet metal is great and the pot metal chrome is excellent. The front bumper is pushed up in the middle from the tow truck messing it up.
I bought this Electra after it had been parked for years, decades possible and I have since done service work, new tires, new battery, new master cylinder, new radiator hoses and thermostat.
The fuel tank was removed and cleaned out, new fuel rubber lines.
The Buick starts and the Nailhead engine runs great, the transmission pulls in forward and reverse but the car has not been driven on the road in many years.
I did replace the master cylinder but the brakes have not been bleed yet, the car does have brakes though. It even has a very good exhaust.
The Buick is complete.
