This is a 1968 TR250. This car was made for 18 months with only about 800 remaining in North America. This hybrid of the classic TR4 body with the TR6 chassis has made this a very rare and sought after vehicle.

With 74k miles, this car is in excellent clean condition both mechanically and structurally. There has been a lot of work done on this to bring it up to this high quality state.

The car has always been stored inside and never driven in the rain.

This car drives very nicely, has lots of power and handles well.

Work done:

• Transmission completely rebuilt with fully refurbished overdrive installed.
• Transaxle rebuilt
• Transaxle body mounts complete refurbished.
• New Clutch
• Interior floor pans replaced
• Interior completely stripped to the metal, painted, with soundproofing panels installed.
• Complete brand new interior installed - including carpets, matts, all interior panels and leather seats.
• Seats completely stripped down to the metal frame and built back up with everything new
• Seats are the 1969 Tr6 seats with the fold down headrest.- they were made for only one year - all moving parts were rebuilt and work as they should.
• Heated seat kits were installed
• The dashboard was removed and new black trim installed.
• The heater box was removed, refurbished with new heater core and rebuilt blower fan installed.
• All under dash heater and vent controls were refurbished and work properly
• All gauges were refurbished and work properly
• Fuel level sender was also rebuilt in this process.
• New Motolita steering wheel.
• New Retro Sound stereo and four way speakers.
• Upgrades to dash include - under dash lighting - custom rear seating lighting- control for future rear window defog - glove box and trunk light - gooseneck cell phone holder (is removable) - centre console where heated seat controls are mounted as well as extra power jacks -
• Both doors have been completely rebuilt - window mechanisms removed and rebuilt with new glass
• New locks and handles
• New windscreen.
• Custom trunk interior installed.
• Trunk metal is in excellent condition as is the paint
• Both bumpers are complete  with rear licence plate lighting rebuilt and working fully.
• New Michelin tires with less than 3000k on them
• New chrome luggage rack
• Refurbished period aluminum racing rims
• All brakes and joints redone and in top shape
• New high flow radiator
• Stainless steel air deflector
• New electric cooling fan as well as 8 blade engine fan
• Frame has recently been painted
• Frame is in excellent condition after small repair done to front suspension mount
• Wheels recently balanced and alignment done.
• New Stainless exhaust installed last year.
• Body paint in good condition with a few chips.
• One small rust bubble the size of a looney showing on one fender - has not gotten bigger in five years as I never drove in the rain.

Engine:

• Runs great with good oil pressure, good compression and lots of power.

To do:

• The engine compartment did not get painted green when the rest of the car was done - original colour was cobalt blue.
• Perhaps the engine could be done to clean up the aesthetics
• I purchased a new black dash cover but never installed it - will include it
