were going through a time of transition since emissions regulations
were still changing and electronic engine management was in its
infancy, engine power output was low compared to earlier
generations. The primary design emphasis at launch was therefore
focused on handling and braking, with an all-independent
light-weight suspension and wheels and all new brakes with aluminum
calipers.Personal luxury was also at the fore-front of the C3
Corvette design and can be seen in the styling of the seating, with
the multiple power adjustments and the cockpit controls. This
example comes to us with freshened paint, and stunning 19-inch
chrome wheels. Gold-chromed emblems and gold Grand Sport inspired
stripes give a striking visual appeal. The mechanical top is in
fine working order, and the black material is clean and fresh
looking.
