Vehicle Description
This 1934 Chevrolet Cabriolet is a true street rod masterpiece,
built with precision and style from top to bottom. The Outlaw glass
body is paired with a removable hard top, giving it a sleek and
classic appearance while offering versatility for open-air
cruising. Beneath the striking exterior, a custom stainless steel
frame provides durability and structural integrity, ensuring this
build is as solid as it is stunning.
Powering this show-stopping Cabriolet is a 350 cubic inch 4-bolt
main bore engine, enhanced with a 268 hydraulic cam and 327-300
heads. High-heat aluminum headers complement the setup, maximizing
performance and efficiency. A 400 Turbo transmission ensures smooth
shifting, making every drive an exhilarating experience. The
Mustang rack and pinion steering system, finished in chrome,
combined with Mustang spindles featuring a 5-bolt Chevy pattern by
Outlaw, provides excellent handling and control. The Aldin
coil-overs in the front and a 1981 Corvette rear with a 3.73
positive gear ratio and stainless steel calipers complete the
high-performance suspension setup. A Midland power brake system
with stainless lines ensures reliable stopping power.
Luxury and functionality are evident throughout the interior. The
late-model GM tilt steering column, Ron Francis wiring, and
Vern-Air heat and air system with a chrome compressor ensure a
comfortable and convenient driving experience. A Griffin aluminum
radiator with an aluminum condensing coil keeps the engine running
cool even during long drives. The sound system is top-tier,
featuring a Kenwood CD player, amplifiers, subwoofers, and a power
antenna. Additional modern upgrades include power windows, magnetic
door locks, and a power trunk for enhanced convenience. A digital
dash, soon to be installed, will further modernize the driving
experience.
The exterior paint is a stunning Standox base coat with a clear
coat finish, providing a deep and lustrous shine. Budnik famous
wheels add a touch of custom style, while stainless steel accents
throughout the car elevate its aesthetic appeal. The front upper
and lower control arms, chassis, crossmembers, motor mounts,
exhaust pipes, and mufflers are all stainless steel, ensuring
longevity and a polished look. Additional stainless steel
components include the rear bumper, brake light and front running
light boxes, grille, gas tank, hood latch and hinges, gas and brake
pedals, window trim, and door sill plates.
Custom body modifications add to this street rod's unique presence.
A third brake light has been integrated into the body, while a
frenched antenna provides a sleek, streamlined appearance. The
headlight stands have been molded into the front fenders, and the
license plate box is recessed for a cleaner rear-end look, while
also serving as the fill neck for the gas tank. The underside of
the hood, side apron, and the entire body have been meticulously
filled and painted, ensuring a show-quality finish from every
angle.
This 1934 Chevrolet Cabriolet is a high-end custom build that
effortlessly blends vintage charm with modern performance and
luxury. It is a one-of-a-kind vehicle that demands attention
wherever it goes, making it a perfect addition to any collection or
for someone who appreciates true craftsmanship in a street rod.
