Classics is pleased to offer this exceptional left-hand-drive
two-door example that is powered by a 3.9-liter fuel-injected V8
mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer
case. The Sahara Gold paint was refurbished around 2018 as well as
refreshing the interior with replacement seats, carpets, a
headliner, and door panels. Additional work consisted of removing
and repairing the transmission, rebuilding the radiator, installing
exhaust components, and refreshing the gauges. Equipment includes
air conditioning, a locking center differential, aluminum body
panels, a split rear tailgate, 16 Rostyle wheels, and mud flaps.
Exterior features include black-painted bumpers, fog lamps, mud
flaps, Range Rover badging, and fender-mounted rear view mirrors.
Rostyle 16 wheels with Range Rover center caps are mounted with
Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S tires. A covered spare is mounted inside
the cargo area. The interior was refurbished by British European
Motors of Cotati, California, with replacement front buckets and a
rear bench reupholstered in tan cloth along with matching door
panels, rear quarter panel trim, a headliner, and carpets. The
center stack houses an analog clock, the climate controls, and
Smiths instruments for voltage, oil temperature, and oil pressure.
Amenities include air conditioning, manual crank windows, and an
ashtray. A three-spoke steering wheel frames a refreshed 200-km/h
speedometer with a five-digit odometer showing 36,756 kilometers
(22,839k miles), total mileage is unknown. The 3.9-liter
fuel-injected Rover V8 routes power to all four wheels through a
four-speed manual transmission which was removed and repaired in
2020 along with a dual-range transfer case. Additional work
performed under previous ownership included wiring repairs,
replacing an oxygen sensor, and refurbishing the radiator. The
exhaust system was serviced with a replacement muffler, connector
pipe, resonator, and gaskets in 2020. The British Motor Industry
Heritage Trust certificate indicates a build date of September 5,
1978 along with the factory color and the chassis number. Your
