The DeLuxe trim line was applied to multiple Chevrolets from 1941
to 1952 and lead in sales during its run. In the 40's production of
new styles had to stop due to WWII and it wasn't until 1949 that
the world got to see a new styling from Chevrolet. This very cool
1952 Styline DeLuxe is a mild custom that has a great look. It is
the 2 door version and the body is all solid with no signs of rust.
The body has been shaved of its hood trim, door handles and deck
trim but still wears the nice side trim and rear fender trim as
well as the DeLuxe emblem. It is painted in a nice Teal Blue that
has some pearl in it that really comes to life when out in the sun.
The front/rear stock style bumpers are nicely mounted in place
which have a nice overall shine but is flaking in some areas. The
stock headlights up front work well and it back it now has custom
LED taillights. One very cool feature in addition to the body
modifications is the rear fender skirts which give it an even more
streamlined look. The car rides on a set of aftermarket wheels with
Chevy bowtie hubcaps and are wrapped in thin white wall tires.
Under the hood is a nice running small block Chevy V8 that has been
fitted with painted to match Moroso valve covers, painted to match
air cleaner, painted to match brackets, an Edelbrock 4 barrel
carburetor and and Edelbrock Performer EPS intake. That is in then
paired with an automatic transmission and 10 bolt rear end. The car
sounds good and has a custom dual exhaust system that exits below
the rear bumpers. The fuel system on the car was just gone through
and it has a brand new gas tank. Some very nice upgrades for the
car include the power steering system and power brakes which
incorporate discs up front.
Inside the car has been redone with Gray upholstery combined with
Black carpeting. It has a split front bench seat with the full
bench in rear. The dash and the upper sections of the door panels
have been painted a suede Black. On the dash it has mostly a stock
layout with the central grill and clock along with stock style
gauges. The steering column has also been painted and is fitted
with a 3 spoke custom wheel.
This is a cool classic that has some neat customizations and
upgrades. What is even more cool is the price! Often the cost of
entry into the classic car hobby is so high that people back away
from it but this is a case someone could get themselves a very cool
restomod at a price that won't break the bank.
Put it in your garage for $21,500.00!
