The C/K series of pickups was also known as the "Action Line"
series. The goal for this series was to make the trucks more
effective for personal use by incorporating more convenience
features while still maintaining the durability and usefulness that
a pickup provides. It is the second generation of the C/K trucks
and the final year for the multiple rear window option. It saw a
complete redesign and 1967 was the first year for it. This '67 is a
shortbed Fleetside version and has just undergone a complete
restoration. The body is very straight and all rust free. The paint
is brand new and is the Ochre color applied to the 70 models. It
has a beautiful finish and you can tell it is fresh. The chrome is
in excellent condition throughout and the stock style front/rear
bumpers are new and nicely mounted in place. Various grill designs
were used throughout this generation of trucks and everyone has
their favorite style but there is no denying the '67 has a great
looking front end with the combo of paint and trim. All of the
glass is in good shape and is all tinted. The bed has been entirely
redone with new oak slats and new stainless steel strips. The truck
has a great stance and the rides on very cool custom Black and
Silver Moto Metal wheels with 245/75R16 tires.
It is not all about looks because the drivetrain has been entirely
redone as well. It has a new crate 350 V8 motor that starts up and
runs very well. It is fitted with an Edelbrock intake, 4 barrel
carburetor, chrome Chevrolet air cleaner, and chrome Edelbrock
valve covers. The block and heads are also nicely painted so the
engine is show ready. It is kept nice and cool with an aftermarket
aluminum radiator and a custom shroud. The suspension, brakes,
steering, etc has all been gone through and redone. It has power
steering and power brakes which make it a very comfortable truck to
cruise around in. The truck has a great sound through new headers
into dual exhaust. The transmission is a Turbo 350 that is brand
new and sends power back to the 12 bolt rear end. It has a fresh
front end alignment and the truck drives down the road well and
very straight.
The interior of it is all new and it shows. It looks just as fresh
as the rest and is done in Brown. It is the deluxe version so the
bench seat incorporates nice patterns on both the driver and
passenger side. The seat, carpet, door panels, and kick panels were
all replaced. The inside of the cab and dash have all been very
nicely painted to match the exterior. The stock style gauges are
cleanly mounted in the stock bezel and under the dash gauges have
been added for the temp and amps. Inset into the dash is a 5th
generation Vintage Air AC/Heat system that was just charged and
blows cold. The truck has the standard original column that has
also been nicely painted and topped with a painted 3 spoke steering
wheel.
This is a beautiful truck and needs nothing but a new garage to
call home. It comes with multiple receipts for various components
throughout the build and was just completed. It is being offered up
at a very reasonable price that you would undoubtedly surpass
should you try to build it yourself.
This pickup is yours for $42,500.00!
