The most recognized classic muscle car ever the "legendary" 1969
Dodge Charger R/T. 1969 is the golden year for the Chargers. The
1969 Charger dominating the street, the strip, and NASCAR that
year. Chargers were untouchable on the track and street.
All NEW nut-and-bolt build with only 762 miles! This is a factory
original 1969 Charger R/T Magnum 440, 4-Speed, and Super-Trac pack
option. The option includes the Dana 60 rear end with 4.10 gears
and different sized springs (passenger side has an extra leaf).
Drive line is original, except the block is a 1970 440 Magnum -
correct engine, one year newer. The high-performance 440 Magnum
with Holley 750 cfm 4-barrel carburetor. The engine rebuilt .040"
over is rated at 440 HP. Performance Edelbrock aluminum heads,
manifold, and March Pulleys with underdrive. An MSD ignition box
(relocated and overflow box for a proper clean appearance), and an
MSD distributor. The R/T has a great growl thanks to TTi long tube
headers that feed into TTi stainless 3" exhaust with X-pipe. The
4-speed manual transmission with classic "Hurst Pistol Grip
Shifter" (technically not available until 1970). New clutch and
pressure plate - eliminated the factory 3 prong. Oversized aluminum
radiator with dual electric fans with separate temperature
controls, and a Be-Cool overflow box.
Subframe has been tied together and torque box added leaf springs
(stock on the Hemi). It was a rotisserie restoration and is painted
as nice on the bottom as the top. Undercarriage has not been
undercoated. Power coated the front and rear sway bars that
includes entire front core support pieces. All NEW tie rods, power
steering pump and hoses, and a Borgeson steering rack. Wilwood
master cylinder with all new power brake canister with adjustable
brake bias valve. Upgrade to four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes. New
custom emergency brake.
All paint work being a rotisserie restoration is show ready. The
body was sandblasted to bare metal. New black vinyl top replacing
the factory green vinyl. All NEW: wheel trim moldings, front
windshield molding, rain gutter molding, front and rear bumpers,
and blinker bezels hood and lower valance. Complete rebuild on
headlights. Replaced all vacuum hoses and painted front grill,
headlight doors and emblems.
The interior is stunning starting with Carbon Fiber dash with new
aftermarket gauges. All new upholstery with custom fiber seat
inserts. Even has custom made floor mats. New drivers and passenger
retractable shoulder harness. New door panels front and rear this
includes package shelf. Even the headliner and glove box are new! A
high end stereo sound system with 6x9 in the rear deck lid and two
8" sub woofers, front dash speakers, and power amps. The trunk is a
work of art! Storage door to keep it looking clean. Passenger side
door houses the battery. Taillights are protected by custom
covers.
The Charger is riding on all new tires and 17" wheels. To keep the
street stance 2" lower blocks installed at the rear leafs.
The 1969 Charger R/T has a complete detail from top to bottom. This
is truly a NEW '69 Charger R/T. This is a car you have to
experience and see the finished R/T to understand the extent of the
build.
