1969 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 SOUTHERN CAR! 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION,
P/S, PFDB This is one sharply dressed 1969 Chevelle SS in its
factory color code 51 Dusk Blue with white SS stripes running down
both sides!! The body is clean and straight. Looking down both
sides it is straight, no rust or damage, and the panels fit square
and flush. The paint has a smooth and very glossy finish. The door
jambs are glossy and the bottom of the doors are clean. The weather
stripping and window seals have been replaced. The chrome and trim
are in very good condition. It sits on a set of Cragar 5 spoke SS
wheels, 15x8 in the rear with a 275/60/15 and 15x7 in the front
245/60/15 wrapped with a set of BFG T/A radial tires!! It sports a
factory bench seat with a Hurst four speed coming up out of the
floor in front of it. The seats have been re-upholstered including
new seat foam. It also has newer door panels. Looking forward to
the dash, it is very nice. The lenses are clear and feature
optional tach and gauges. The dash pad is nice, no cracks. It has
an SS Sure Grip steering wheel and a retro AM/FM radio. The engine
compartment is correct and nicely detailed with its period-correct
396 ci engine. Some features include: HEI ignition, Edelbrock
aluminum intake manifold, dual feed Holley carburetor with correct
fuel line, factory correct chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner,
factory exhaust manifolds and a cadmium plated brake booster with
newer master cylinder. There are original style spring battery
cables, GM radiator hoses, factory tower clamps, correct 4 core
radiator and fan shroud. It also has power steering and power front
disc brakes. The engine compartment has a nice satin black finish.
The undercarriage is just as impressive. The front end has been
completely rebuilt. The springs, shocks, tie rods and ball joints
have been replaced. Looking up at the motor, it is clean as well as
the M20 Muncie 4-speed transmission. The floors are all clean
metal. It has a nice 2.5" dual exhaust system with Flowmaster
mufflers. The exhaust pipes run all the way out the back with the
correct exhaust tips. Power to the rear is through a 12-bolt 3:73
posi rear end. The E-brake assembly is hooked up and working. It
also has a newer gas tank and straps. This undercarriage is very
nice and all original clean metal!! The trunk is all clean metal.
It is complete with a spare tire, jacking assembly and lug wrench.
