For Sale: 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air in Houston, Texas

Vehicle Description

1955 Chevy Bel Air (210 Restomod)

This 1955 Chevy has been in my possession for over 8 years, and it is time for me to let it go to make room for a new ride. This is the most reliable of all my classics and I would drive it anywhere right now. It has been on countless road trips from LA to Houston, all through the mid-west on Route 66 and so many other weekend cruises. It’s always a show favorite. I have put ~15,000 miles on it over 8 years. A restored 4 door this nice is rare and can even be used as a chauffeured wedding get-away car to earn some weekend income. I used Hagerty Driveshare for this purpose for several years and everyone loved it. Some details about the car:

-Strong Running Chevy 350 that does not leak or use oil. Edelbrock 1406 600CFM 4-barrel carb rebuilt in 2019. K&N Air Filter. Oil change March 2025

-Automatic 700R4 Transmission that was rebuilt in 2018

-1957 Bel Air frame installed in 2018 because the original frame had several rusty spots. There is no rust anywhere in this car on the body or the floor panels. Sound deadening installed throughout during the build

Everything below was new and installed in 2018

-2003 Chevy Blazer rear end with disc brakes and posi. 3.42 gears

-Tubular upper and lower control arms, KYB front shocks, front sway bar, Gabriel Hi-Jacker Air rear shocks installed on a proper support bar, Rear leaf springs, Stainless headers and 2.5” Flowmaster exhaust with H-Pipe + Flowmaster 40 mufflers and stainless tips

-Power steering pump rebuilt, Champion radiator, Derale  auxillary transmission cooler, Hayden pusher fan for traffic, 16 gallon galvanized fuel tank

-AC Vintage Air GEN IV system blows cold, Pioneer BT Stereo w/remote with 4 solid speakers + subwoofer and amp…sound is perfect. 3 sets of seat belts in the rear & 2 in front. All vinyl inside is nice. Seats have original springs that have been reinforced a bit.

-Michelin Pilot Sport tires with less than 5000 miles on the front and less than 13000 on the rears. Chrome American Racing mags are in great shape.

-Paint shines very nicely and presents well. I would rate it 7 of 10 as there are some minor road nicks and small areas showing their age. From 10 feet away in the sun…it’s stunning and it changes color a bit at night. Chrome bumpers and stainless trim are all very nice and shiny. All glass is in great shape along with window felts and rubber seals

-LED headlights and all lights and signals work

2-year-old battery in the trunk with trickle charger lead mounted and charger included

Power Steering, power disc brakes all the way around, all gauges work, tilt steering, all windows and doors open and close easily. Wipers work. Remote trunk release.

This is a great first safe and fun classic car to enjoy with your family or a nice add to any collection for a Tri-5 that looks great going anywhere. It sounds like a muscle car and will light up both rear tires while the stereo is rocking your favorite song. The car needs nothing and will treat you very well. Let’s talk and make it yours! Drive it home to anywhere.
