This 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a beautiful rig. It is a 3 Owner
truck that most recently came back to us from Texas. We sold this
vehicle previously and the last owner lived in Texas and only drove
it around 2,000 miles. The owner before that was also from Texas
where it was driven between his 2 ranches occasionally. This
vehicle has been extremely well cared for and when we sold it to
last owner it had a lot of service records that went with it. The
owners of this truck spent a lot of money to keep this Grand
Wagoneer well maintained. It is getting very hard to find really
nice Grand Wagoneers with low miles for a fair price. The body on
this truck is in excellent condition. It is very straight, very
clean, and a rust free truck. We found no evidence of rust or rust
repair anywhere on this truck. It was professionally repainted in
its original color of Dover Gray and also had the wood panel decals
redone (this was around 8 years ago). It looks fantastic!!! The
exterior of this Jeep really looks amazing and you will be sure to
be happy with it.
The interior of this vehicle is about as nice as they come for an
original interior. The original leather seats still look so nice
and show very little wear, the headliner and door panels are still
great, dash is excellent and carpet is clean. Just an excellent
example of a well preserved interior that shows this Woody was well
cared for. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn
signals are all working. The gauges all work. The power windows
work and the power rear window works. This vehicle does have power
locks but they are sticky which is a common issue in these
vehicles. The horn and windshield wipers work. This vehicle has
cruise control but it is not working. The heat and AC also
work.
Mechanically this Jeep is rock solid and it runs and drives great!!
It still has the original 5.9L 360 V8 that runs strong and has
always been well maintained. The 727 Automatic Transmission shifts
really nice and it is mated to the np229 transfer case. The 4WD
works like it should. It has DANA 44 Axles front & rear with the
stock 2.73 gears they all had. There has been too much maintenance
done to this Jeep to list, but here are some recent items: all new
fluids, new radiator, new power steering system, new shocks,
electric fuel pump, new tires. In the last 4,000 miles it has had
new belts installed, carb rebuilt, transmission and power steering
seals replaced and new intake gasket.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
