Survivor Classic Car Services is proud to present this neat 1950
International Harvester Metrovan. This example has been updated,
overhauled, and customized to serve purpose at local farmers
markets over the better part of the last decade. The van went
through a two-year restoration process, and a donor van was
purchased to source many of the harder to find parts to replace.
The V8 engine and automatic transmission were pulled from a Ford to
replace the factory inline-6 engine. While the van originally only
had 90 horsepower, the newer V8 easily doubles that figure! Power
front disc brakes safely bring this classic delivery van to safe
stop. Behind the front grille is an aluminum radiator and electric
fans making sure the engine stays cool, even on the hottest days.
The power steering provides plenty of assist and makes parking this
International a breeze!
Slide either of the side doors open and step into the refurbished
interior. Storage areas have been set up along the insides of the
cargo area. A white vinyl bucket seat is the the drivers seat, and
the entirety of the cab interior has been painted white to match.
The rear area has had simulated-wood flooring laid down to make the
inside really pop. This old delivery truck is ready to deliver some
good memories to you!
