This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe will not last long at this price! The
color combination is phenomenal with a Copper Metallic exterior
paired with a Black interior.
This is a real "C" code 289 V8 from the factory! That 200 HP engine
has been given a bit more life with an Edelbrock top end including
aluminum Performer RPM heads, aluminum Performer RPM intake,
Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, HEI distributor, full-length headers
to an H-pipe and dual exhaust, and a mild cam. The engine is paired
to a very smooth shifting 3-speed automatic transmission and a
cruiser friendly gear ratio out back.
That slick professional paint job is paired with 15" American
Racing Torq Thrust wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich Radial TA tires.
Front disc brakes can be seen through the spokes.
Open the door to find a very nice Black vinyl interior with bucket
seats, an aftermarket center console with cupholders, a Mustang
AM/FM/Cassette player in the factory radio holes, and Mustang
emblem embroidered floormats up front. Seat belts for all
passengers are a great thing to have as you hit the road, and this
Mustang has them!
The trunk is nicely finished with a correct plaid trunk mat and a
car cover with storage bag. This Mustang was restored with a lot of
new metal, new suspension parts, new fuel tank, front disc brake
conversion, and more! The new metal includes torque boxes, floor
pans, trunk pan, and full quarter panels. The front and rear
subframes are original. New control arms, shocks, leaf springs,
steering components, brakes, fuel tank, fuel filter, fuel pump,
PowerMaster alternator, were installed during the restoration. The
restoration is believed to be about 8 years old.
This is a first-generation Mustang that you could take to car
shows, hit cruise nights, or keep in your collection to stare at
and enjoy. It runs and drives out very nicely!
