1968 Dodge Charger resto-mod, blending classic styling with modern
performance enhancements. At its heart is a fuel-injected Mopar
Performance Mega Block V8 engine paired with a 4L85E automatic
overdrive transmission, featuring a Hughes performance bell housing
and torque converter. The restoration includes significant
suspension upgrades such as a Riley Motorsports coilover system
upfront and a Riley Street Links triangulated four-link coilover
setup in the rear, mounted on a Dana 60 axle. Stopping power is
boosted by Wilwood disc brakes on all four wheels, complemented by
dual exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers and custom headers for
optimal performance and sound. Yellow paint with a black vinyl
interior. Riding on 18 inch Magnum 500 style wheels with a modern
polished and black two-tone finish. Some minor touch-ups are
evident but overall, the body panels are straight and
well-maintained. This car has plenty of power to no end and is fun
to drive! We did notice the car does have a shake in the front end
around 55mph and the seller has elected to sell the car with that
announcement. Inside, the black vinyl bucket seats show no major
wear, and the dashboard retains a mostly stock look with functional
gauges including an aftermarket AC control, water temperature
gauge, tachometer, and a working clock. While the air conditioning
compressor operates quietly, it does not blow cold air. Iconic 1968
Dodge Charger grille with hideaway headlights, and hood turn signal
indicators. On the road smooth automatic shifting, and responsive
throttle.
