This Camaro z/28 was mechanically Restored 100% nut and bolt frame
off in 2016 in South Carolina.
Sequoia Green paint and factory correct black stripes are 9 years
old.
Bought in 2020 and shipped to Southern California where current
owner had engine removed. Stroked and bored with all internals
replaced except the crank shaft which was ground.
Total 1972 Z28 Production: Only 2,575 Z28s were built that
year.
Production Hindrances: 1972 production of both Camaro and Firebird
was greatly hindered by labor shortages that started in April at
the strike-riddled Norwood plant.
Scrapped Partially Built Cars: More than 1,000 partially built cars
were reportedly scrapped because they would not meet federal
requirements for '73 models.
Rarity: The 1972 Camaro Z28 is considered an extremely rare
car.
Miles at rebuild on odometer was 27,214.
Currently odometer reads 28,106
So newly built 400HP engine had less than 1K miles
Everything under the hood + transmission is new
Complete historical documents and receipts will transfer to new
owner dating back to 2015.
In addition all 60 photos of the restoration process will be
included with the car.
Interior cloth buckets are in very nice condition with no visible
wear. Overall interior is in very nice condition with no
issues.
Body is super straight, hood, trunk, doors lines an even and all
open and close perfectly.
Emblems, chrome numbers, emblems and molding are all straight and
in very nice condition.
This z/28 is a very dependable and fun to cruise hot rod that
sounds perfect with ceramic coated headers into the original cross
over muffler. Unmistakable z/28 exhaust with perfect cam and go
fast parts.
Disclosures: Sequoia Green paint has imperfections, chips, and
touch ups. Radio is non operational, fan and blower motor are
currently non operational. Headliner is coming apart needs to be
replaced.
Truly the last of the American Muscle cars with a killer factory
color combo. This rocket ship will sit you back on launch and
scratch 2nd and 3rd gears.

This Camaro is truly bullet proof and can put rubber to
asphalt.
