Vehicle Description
1979 Pontiac Trans Am: One owner until 2021; 10,039 original miles;
original paint and interior; superb original condition; original
window sticker; extensive documentation and history. Here is the
story as related from the original owner: "Let?s start back in May
of 1979. My parents and I went downtown to Constantin Pontiac
located on Baum Blvd in Pittsburg, Pa. We were shopping for a Trans
Am. I was extremely excited (to say the least). They did not have
anything on the lot that was to say different. They promised us
that an SE was coming in the next week and we should come back &
see it. The week seemed like a year. Needless to say, I will never
forget that day. We returned and they walked us up a concrete ramp
to the second floor where they stored the cars that just came in.
Wow! My heart was pounding. I had never seen a more beautiful car
than that. The car was mine! 17 yrs old ? unbelievable. I kept that
car in mint condition. I was thankful and extremely grateful for
what my parents did for me. I also thought: What if my dad had a
new car when he was 17 & kept it for his kids when he got married &
had kids? WOW! He could not and did not. I did. Through the years
the car went from garage to garage. First it was stored at my
grandmother?s home on Summit Street in Bethel Park, Pa. (1 block
from my home). She passed, then I moved it to Midgwood, also in
Bethel Park. Got married in 1985 and built a new home in South
Park, Pa. and the car moved again. This time to stay with me.
Needless to say, after 24 yrs. of marriage, got divorced and the
car moved back to Bethel Park to my Mom?s. She lived in a townhouse
called LENOX. That?s where the car stayed until today. The car
looks the same as it did 42? years ago when I first saw it at the
dealership. I know it?s going to be kept in the same condition!
It?s in good hands.
