Vehicle Description
This custom 1953 Studebaker Hawk is powered by a fully built 304ci
Studebaker V8 engine and 4-speed manual transmission. The engine
was performance-built to support the Paxton supercharger and is
equipped with hydraulic roller lifters, roller rocker arms,
hypereutectic pistons and custom fuel injection. Power is managed
through a narrowed C4 Corvette rear end with a matching C4 front
axle, supported by coilovers at all four corners. It features
4-wheel power disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering, and a dual
exhaust with long-tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers. The body
underwent extensive custom fabrication, including a shortened
10-inch wheelbase, modified quarter-panels and a rear hatch sourced
from a Nissan 350Z. The roof is from a 2017 Camaro, reshaped to
allow a laid-back windshield. Custom bodywork includes dropped
front fenders, a custom-fabricated grille with integrated LED
lighting, a modified front spoiler, frenched headlamps and 1955
Studebaker taillamps. It rides on 15-inch 5-spoke Radir wheels. The
interior features custom orange leather bucket seats with matching
door panels, a repurposed Edsel dashboard, custom center console,
custom square steering wheel, power windows and a custom sound
system. This one-off build was completed in 2023 with over 3,000
hours and more than $250,000 invested. ** PREVIEW
