This 1973 Volkswagen 23-Window Microbus re-creation was restored by
A&J Revival in Brazil and is powered by a factory-original
1500cc 4-cylinder engine producing 65hp, paired with a rebuilt
4-speed manual transmission and new sport shift lever. The engine
includes a custom air filter, aluminum crank and alternator
pulleys, new carburetor, distributor, ignition coil, spark plugs
and cables. The suspension, steering and braking systems were
rebuilt with original Volkswagen parts. The electrical system was
fully redone and converted to a 12-volt system with new alternator,
voltage regulator, wiring and battery. It features a large
retractable panoramic canvas sunroof, a split windshield with
safari-style chrome front openings and an EMPI stainless steel
grille over the headlights. The exterior is finished in Volkswagen
Paina White and Flash Red two-tone paint over a fully restored
frame and body. It rides on 15-inch Porsche 911 Fuchs chrome wheels
with a slightly lowered stance. The interior features restored
original seats with new foam and springs, reupholstered in Ivory
White and gray ecological vinyl leather with standard VW stitching.
The door panels and headliner match the cabin finish. Additional
features include a stainless-steel and wood sports steering wheel
painted in white lacquer and original exterior trim, mirrors, wiper
arms and VW badging. This vehicle has seating for nine passengers
and includes a certificate issued by Volkswagen Brazil. ** PREVIEW
