Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1960 Volkswagen Beetle.
Finished in Pearl White over red interior, this Bug presents to a
nice driver standard throughout (note that Pearl White is not
actually pearlescent, but rather a creamy off-white similar to
Light Ivory). Body is straight and solid; there is one patch panel
in the floor behind the passenger seat under the battery box, but
it's otherwise largely rust-free and original underneath. Good
glass, bumpers and trim. 16-inch steel wheels are wearing Yokohama
tires (175/55R16 front and 205/60/R16 rear). This Beetle maintains
a mostly stock appearance aside from upgraded headlights with blue
halos (the halos flash orange with the turn signals - we presume
that the color and functionality are programmable to your
individual preference).
Interior has been restored in correct materials with door panels,
seat upholstery, carpets, and headliner all in good driver
condition. Nice original steering wheel. Original radio in dash,
plus a modern stereo is hidden in the glove box (but not presently
wired). Lap belts front and rear.
Power comes from a single-port flat four fed by dual carbs and
mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. The engine runs well and the
gearbox feels good with no crunchy synchros or excessive play in
the shift linkage. Speedometer and odometer are both working. 12
volt electrical system. Front disk brakes,
