1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 454 TREMEC 5 SPD TRANS, BUILD SHEET!!
What a looker! This 1970 Chevelle SS looks amazing in a factory
color, Tuxedo Black featuring white accent SS stripes running down
the hood and trunk lid. It also features a functional Cowl
Induction hood with factory hood pins. It certainly stands out from
all of the others. When I look down the sides it is absolutely
laser straight and has excellent fit and finish. The paint is
smooth and very glossy. Up front, the headlight bezels, grill and
bumper look amazing. All the stainless trim is polished like
chrome. It has newer weather stripping and door seals. It sits on a
set of 15x8 Cragar SS mags with BFG T/A radials 275/60/15 on the
rear and 15x7 with 245/60/15 on the front for that aggressive look
that it deserves. The engine compartment is nicely detailed. It has
a GM Performance 454 ci engine with casting # 14015445. lt has a
few performance upgrades: square port heads, Performer RPM aluminum
intake manifold with a dual feed Holley carburetor with correct
fuel line, HEI ignition and Cowl Induction air cleaner. Other
features include: serpentine belt system, Be Cool aluminum 4 core
radiator with dual electric fans, power steering, Delco Moraine
cadmium plated power brake booster with new master cylinder and
correct portioning valve. The engine compartment is finished in
gloss black. It is very clean and tidy! The black bench seat
interior is nice. The seats have new upholstery. It has newer
carpet and sill plates. Looking at the dash, it is in excellent
condition and has factory tach and gauges. The dash pad is nice, no
cracks. The heater controls slide with ease. It features a retro
AM/FM radio and a factory SS steering wheel. All the courtesy
lights work. It also offers original GM front and rear seatbelts.
The undercarriage is very clean metal. The front suspension and
steering have been rebuilt and detailed. The bottom of the motor is
spotless and so is the TKX Tremec 5 speed manual transmission. Some
features include: power steering, front power disc brakes, new fuel
& brake lines, new gas tank & straps, new sending unit, 12-bolt
Posi rear with 3:73 gears, F41 suspension and rear boxed in control
arms with sway bar. It also has a new 2.5" dual exhaust system that
runs all the way out the back with the correct cowbell exhaust
tips. The E-brake assembly is complete and working. The underside
of this Chevelle is the same as the top side, very impressive! The
trunk is finished with a light coat of spatter paint. It comes
complete with a trunk mat, correct spare tire, jack assembly and
