This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette custom convertible built by Hotrod
Dynamics out of Lenore, NC, is powered by a brand-new GM LT4 6.2L
supercharged V8 engine paired to a Tremec 5-speed manual
transmission equipped with a hydraulic throw-out bearing and
Centerforce clutch. The engine has been professionally tuned and
dyno-tested, and power is delivered through a carbon-fiber
driveshaft to a Detroit Speed DECAlink complete 4-link independent
rear suspension system with 17-spline axles and adjustable
coilovers and shocks. The front suspension is a Detroit Speed
SpeedRay kit with matching adjustable coilovers and shocks.
Approximately $30,000 was invested in the suspension and
installation alone. This build, driven just 422 miles since
completion, had a cost just shy of $200,000 for parts and labor
alone; the sale includes receipts from Hotrod Dynamics. Braking is
handled by a Wilwood big disc brake kit on all four corners,
including an e-brake kit and an E-Stopp electric parking brake
system with the button mounted on the console next to the shifter.
Additional features include a custom red leather interior, power
windows, Dakota Digital gauges, Vintage Air climate control, Ididit
tilt steering column, Detroit Speed electric headlight door kit,
Flaming River rack & pinion steering and a retrofit digital
Bluetooth stereo. The fully custom red interior has a hand-built
and molded center console featuring flush-mounted power window
switches. LED lighting and Painless wiring are installed
throughout. This custom Corvette rides on a set of high-end custom
Schott wheels and is finished in Brilliant Metallic Silver with a
polished clearcoat. ** PREVIEW
